Another Note: CoA is short for Coenzyme A. It consists of a ß-mercapto-ethylamine group, attached to a pantothenic group, attached to a 3',5' - Adenine DiPhosphate, in that order. The ß-mercapto-ethylamine group is connected to the Acetyl unit, by an acetyl thioester bond.
