Deviance depends entirely on what's acceptable in society
ex: Steroids can be labeled as deviant. They are not labeled as right or wrong. Steroids in professional sports can be labeled wrong as it is unfair and deviant. However, old men on steroids to ramp up testosterone and what not is not seen as being as bad.
