o Collectives have loose norms (which are murkily defined), while groups have
strongly held/well-defined norms.
So collective is when peasents riot because everything sucks – one guy is just like, screw this I'm not sure what I'm mad at but I want to riot..
Group is more of the KKK. They are exclusive, they have a very specific purpose, and the group has been around for a very long time.
