The path of a projectile that is not experiencing air resistance is not influenced by the mass of the projectile.
Note: In a vacuum, a golf ball will follow the same path as a ping pong ball if their initial velocities are the same. Finally, in the absence of air resistance a projectile exhibits symmetry: its path upward is the mirror image of its path downward. For a projectile over a flat plane, time is the same for both halves of the flight, and initial speed is equal to final speed.
